"I'm a big fan of Michael Owen and even though he's only 23, he has already broken loads of goalscoring records," said Hunt.
"If Michael stays with Liverpool and remains free from injury, then he could break every goalscoring record at the club.
"He's without doubt one of the top strikers in the world at the moment."
