Reds linked with Chelsea defender

Gallas is reportedly unhappy at Chelsea after being asked to play at left-back instead of his favoured centre-half position and the player's agent admits Liverpool have enquired about taking the French international to Anfield.

"It's true Liverpool and Barcelona have asked about William," said Pierre Frelot.
 
"But there is no concrete offer and Chelsea have not said they want to sell."
