Reds linked with Milan striker

Ex-Newcastle player Tomasson, who came on as a subsitute against Liverpool in the European Cup final, is not in Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti's plans and will be allowed to leave for the right price.

Sources in Italy say Milan will accept bids of around 10m euros for the Danish international.

Liverpool are not the only english side reported to be interested in Tomasson; Arsene Wenger may try to bring the player to Highbury.
