Reds Malbranque bid rejected?

The London club, aware of interest from Champions-League bound Chelsea, are intent on receiving the £5m fee they paid Lyon for the 23-year-old's services two seasons ago.

With Gerard Houllier still keen on Blackburn's Damien Duff, it remains to be seen whether he feels Malbranque is worth the money spoken of by the Cottagers.
