Reds monitor Alves

The Spanish club have offered Daniel Alves a new contract in the hope of keeping hold of the 23-year-old Brazilian defender.

Liverpool failed in their efforts to sign Alves in the summer, but may well make another move for him at the end of the season, according to the Echo.
