Reds move for Bentley

Rafael Benitez wants to sign Blackburn's David Bentley and is confident of getting his man after Rovers boss Mark Hughes quit Ewood Park for Manchester City this week.

Blackburn's failure to qualify for european football next season is also likely to hasten Bentley's departure.
