Reds notch up comfortable win

Liverpool had a bit of a scare in this game when they found themselves 1-0 down but goals from Djibril Cisse and Jamie Carragher put the Reds 2-1 up before the break.

Liverpool dominated the second half and should really have scored more than the one they got- a penalty from Steven Gerrard who has now scored six times this season, almost half his total for the whole of last season.

Bolo Zenden and Cisse both came close to adding a fourth for the Reds but 3-1 should be enough for Liverpool to join Everton and Man Utd in round three.
