Jurgen Klopp has taken his Liverpool squad to Spain for a five-day mid-season break.
“We have 14-15 days, so there are two or three days rest and then pre-season for the rest of the season,” explained the German. “That’s how we understand the situation.
“We have to use this. We have to use the time to show the team why we are there (near the top of the table).
“We want to use the time and hopefully everybody can see that, that would make sense.”
