"It will be great to see how everything works at a big club and it will be a big experience no matter how it goes," said Engvall, who currently plays for Swedish division three side Farjestadens GolF and has represented his country at Under 15 level.
The youngster will travel to Merseyside in December and, depending on his performances for the side during that month, could be asked to join the club's youth academy on a permanent basis.
