Reds release defender

Liverpool youngster Paul Culshaw is the latest player to be told he has no future at the club.

The 6 foot tall centre-back has been with the club since he was ten years old but he's now looking for a new club. It's naturally a huge blow to the local lad especially after spending two years at Melwood. Those close to the youth/reserve scene aren't surprised with the club's decision to release him.

Meanwhile the versatile reserve player Stephen Warnock has been given a one year contract by the club. Warnock, who can play in defence or in midfield, has established himself as a reserves regular and was named man-of-the-match in the reserves derby only a few days ago.
