Reds set for Pennant swoop

The Birmingham winger has been linked with a move to Anfield for a few months now, but the deal now looks to be on.

Rafael Benitez is hoping to agree the transfer as quickly as possible so Pennant can join up with the rest of the squad for pre-season training which starts on Monday.
