Reds set to go global

Glenn Joyce, who works for Anfield sponsors Reebok, will oversee Liverpool's attempts to raise their profile across the world - particularly in potentially profitable areas such as Asia and America.

"Glenn's appointment clearly underscores our commitment to Liverpool Football Club globally," said Reebok president Martin Coles.

"Liverpool is unquestionably one of the great world football teams with a worldwide fanbase and it is our intention to develop that over the coming years."
