He said: "We've had a lack of confidence lately and it's taken us to go a goal down to start playing. When I scored I felt the game was dying off, but I had that little bit left in the tank and got the benefits from it in the end.
"We had 50 minutes sitting around in the dressing room chatting and it was difficult but I think we've shown the fans a good game of football."
Match winner Danny Murphy added:We showed great spirit and at 3-1 I thought we'd won it but credit to them they did fight well and they deserved to get back into it. Stevie was magnificent with his surging runs and we won it late on which adds to the drama."
