Reds stars named in reserve side

All three players will be hoping to stake their claim for a place in the side to face the North-East outfit's senior side by impressing for Hugh McAuley's second- string at Chester.

Highly-rated midfielder John Welsh will continue his progression by captaining a side that also includes Irish winger Richie Partridge and summer signing Carl Medjani.
