The club will consult their lawyers today over reports that Parry met his Stamford Bridge counterpart Peter Kenyon to finalise the terms of a £30million transfer at the end of the season.
"I did not meet with Peter Kenyon, nor did I agree a deal for Steven Gerrard," said Parry.
"Both Rafa Benitez and myself have made it clear to Steven that we want him to stay and we see his future at Anfield."
