Reds to play Lazio

The Reds are set to play the Italians at Anfield on Friday, August 8th as a warm up for their Champions League qualifier. Liverpool were trying to set up a friendly against Athletico Madrid on this date but the two sides couldn't come to an agreement and Lazio are now likely to be the opponents in the Reds' first home pre-season friendly for five years.
