Reds to sign defender

Blanchett has impressed during a two week trial at Melwood and now the Reds are set to offer the 18 year old full back a contract.

"In terms of technique, he's as good as a pro now and there are aspects he would improve on if he went professional anyway," said Cambridge City boss Gary Roberts.
