Reds to win Kewell duel?

The Australian international's wage demands - said to be in the region of £60,000 - are proving to be a serious obstacle to Arsene Wenger's plans to bring the 24-year-old to Highbury, according to the Liverpool Echo.

It is thought that the Reds are now ready to offer the Leeds United forward a suitable financial package in order to see off competition from the likes of the Gunners, Chelsea and Barcelona.
