Early into the second half Milan Baros' shot deflected off defender Zat Knight and over Edwin van der Sar for an own goal.
Baros scored a second on 71 minutes to bring the Reds level. Xabi Alonso curled in a free kick to give Liverpool the lead 8 minutes later.
Igor Biscan sealed the victory in the dying seconds, scoring his first goal for the club.
