Reds will go for win

Liverpool take a 2-1 first leg lead into tonight's Champions League game with Barcelona at Anfield. Although the Reds will go through with a 1-0 defeat or any draw, Rafael Benitez will send his team out looking for the win.

"Our idea is to try to win. We've been talking to the players and told them not to think about the first leg. We need to think of it as a new game at Anfield. We have a different plan," said the Reds' boss.

"If we'd gone over to Barca and got a draw, we'd be talking now about the tie being close and wondering if we'd get through. We've got to start tomorrow with this mentality.

"It's a game against a very, very good team. We need to go into the game thinking we need to win and we should win, that's the attitude.

"We have enough quality in our squad so we won't be thinking: Oh, a draw will be good."
