Styles booked John Terry and Essien as they berated him over the awarding of a free kick. That booking was Essien's second but the ref forgot to show a red. The fourth official tried to claim after the match that the referee was only booking Terry and he merely flashed a second yellow card to emphasise Terry's booking. Yeah, right.
Publicity whore Graham Poll then phoned BBC Radio Five Live to defend Styles but since Poll thinks it takes three yellow cards before a player is sent off his opinion can be dismissed.
