Sunderland boss Peter Reid may be facing an injury crisis but he is still confident that he can turn the Reds over despite the quality that Gerard Houllier's side has to offer.

"It's a big game. Both teams are fighting for points, albeit at opposite ends of the table, and there's a lot at stake," said Reid.
"Liverpool have some great players. Owen, Anelka, Gerard, Litmanen, Heskey - the list goes on, but we'll be up for it.
"We've done well against the top clubs at home, apart from Man United, and with a full house behind us we'll give them a game."
