If Reina concedes no more than two goals against Blackburn at Ewood Park tomorrow then he will have a better goals against record than the great Ray Clemence for his first fifty games for the club. Reina has conceded 29 goals in his first 49 games while Clemence conceded 32 in fifty.

Reina has already got a better clean sheets record than Clemence. In his first fifty games for Liverpool Clemence kept an impressive 26 clean sheets. Reina has kept 29 clean sheets in 49 games.

Reina also has the club record for minutes without conceding when the Reds went eleven games without conceding a goal between the Fulham and San Paulo defeats earlier in the season.

There could be another record in the offing for Reina and his defence; the Reds have kept 32 clean sheets to date this season. The club record is 34.
