Reina to join select band

If Reina plays against AC Milan on May 23rd he and his father Miguel Reina Santos, will become only the third father and son pairing to play in the European Cup final after Reina senior played for Athletico Madrid in 1974.
Manuel Sanchis Martinez played for Real Madrid in 1966 while his son Manuel Sanchis Honityuelo played for Real Madrid in 1998 and 2000. Cesar Maldini played in the final for AC Milan in 1963 while Paulo Maldini has already played in seven finals and should play in his eighth on Wednesday.
