Reserve defender gets loan move

The full back came through the Academy and made his first team debut in the 4-3 Carling Cup win over Reading. He has joined Scottish First Division side Ross County on loan for the rest of the season to experience regular first team football.

Smith signed a new two year deal with Liverpool at the start of the season.
