Reserves beaten

A late penalty gave Marine a 1-0 victory over Gary Ablett's side. The Reds had chances to win the game early on, with Krisztian Nemeth in particular coming close, but tiredness began to tell and Marine were able to take advantage after Ronald Huth handled the ball in the area.

Emiliano Insua and Damien Plessies were both missing from the squad which suggests they will feature for the first team against Birmingham City tomorrow.
