Reserves lose

Otsemobor, who captained the side, made an untimely mistake four minutes from time, leaving manager McAuley an unhappy man.

McAuley told the club website: "I am really disappointed because we basically threw it away at the end. It was looking like a well deserved draw for us and then with a few minutes to go Semi just switched off for some reason and they scored."

"Weaknesses find you out and Semi has to learn. We need more of an experienced player from him now and he should know better, he has to know better," he added.

But McAuley had praise for the team, including the Reds scorer, under-18 starlet Paul Barrat.

McAuley said: "We scored an excellent goal and Barratt was there to finish after Ryan Wilkie has seen a good shot saved. I thought overall the young lads worked really hard against their experienced lads and we grew in confidence and passed the ball well. I'm just disappointed that there is nothing to take from it but they will learn."
