Reserves win

The reserves beat Shakhtar in the Brucon Talents cup in Amsterdam last night thanks to an injury time goal from Jack Hobbs. The goal came five minutes into stoppage time which was just reward for the Reds as they faced a physical Shakhtar side who were reduced to ten men in the second half.

In the other game in the tournament Ajax beat Espanyol 2-1 so a win over Ajax on Sunday will mean Liverpool win the cup.
