Reserves win

Adam Hammill scored twice, either side of a Jordy Brouwer strike as Gary Ablett's team beat Southport 3-1 yesterday afternoon. It was Hammill's first appearance in a Red shirt in a year as he spent last season on loan with Southampton and he marked his return with a fine couple of goals.

The first was a carbon copy of Yossi Benayoun's goal for the first team the day before while his second saw Hammill receive the ball on the half way line before taking on almost all the Southport team before slotting the ball home.
