"It was a pleasing performance and we played some good football," said McMahon.
"Gerardo does strike a good ball from a free-kick and funny enough he scored three of them in training yesterday, so it was nice to see his work pay off on the night.
"Mavinga played his first 90 minutes for us and did well. He is a very athletic lad and he took up some good positions at the back for us."
