The Reds recorded a 2-1 away win against Prescot Cables to book a place in the last four of the Liverpool Senior Cup. A goalkeeping howler from Dean Bouzanis gave Prescot the lead but a penalty from Gerado Bruna after Tom Ince had been brought down levelled the scores. Ince himself scored the winner after 23 minutes.
