John McMahon's side booked their place in the last eight with a penalty shoot-out win over Man Utd last night. The game had finished 1-1 after 90 minutes with Nathan Ecclestone scoring for the Reds.
After the 90 minutes, the game went straight into the penalty shoot-out with goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis the hero for Liverpool with two saves. Steve Irwin, Daniel Ayala, Chris Mavinga and Ecclestone scored from the spot for the Reds.
