Riera no lucky charm

The Spaniard made debuts for both Liverpool and Man City against Man Utd and won both games. Rafael Benitez hoped before the game that Riera would be a lucky charm but Riera says it was the right attitude in the Reds' dressing room before the game rather than luck that saw Liverpool take the win.
"They scored first but we believed in ourselves and believed we could change the score. We played a very good second half," he explained.
"It wasn't just luck. You can't talk about luck too much in football. We played a great match and that is why we won."
