"I've played with him once for Spain against Italy and I think he's a really good player," said Arbeloa.
"We didn't have a player like Riera, so he is a good signing. I think he could be a really good player for us because he played with Man City three years ago and has experience.
"All the Spanish players have been talking to him and he is a really good guy. Talking to the other Spanish players can only make it easier for him."
