Riise regains confidence

"We've been struggling a bit at home this season so hopefully this result will give us some confidence," he told the official site after the 1-0 win over Aston Villa. "We've kept three clean sheets in a row now which is good so at least we have something to build on.

"Now we have to keep it going. We have a clear week this week to prepare for the Tottenham game and we all know how important that match is going to be for us.

"We can't afford to be inconsistent anymore. We are on a good run right now and we need to keep our foot on the accelerator and keep going. We've got our confidence back now and we don't want to lose it."
