Riise trying to put football first

Riise's mother Berit, who acted as his agent during his move to Anfield, has admitted that the family fear for their lives after a number of sinister death threats. The Norwegian international, though, knows he must try to focus on his Liverpool career, however hard that might be.
He said: "I have not spoken about this before but what happened to my family is very scary.
"I have not involved myself in it but obviously I keep in touch with what is going on in Norway.
"My mother has told me to concentrate on playing for Liverpool and to make the most of my career and that is what I am trying to do."
