Riise's future is safe

"He started the season in good form but has had some dips," said Houllier. "He is still a young player with a big future here.

"At the moment he probably feels frustration because he is not playing, but there are areas in his game where he can improve.

"But at some stage he will be back in the team. He is a player who belongs to the future of Liverpool and he is definitely in my plans."
