Rivaldo rumours return

The former Barcelona star has struggled to make an impact in Serie A and, although he recently agreed to remain with the Champions League holders until atr least January, it is thought that the World Cup winner may grace the Premiership stage once the transfer window re-opens.

Italian sports newspaper La Gazetto Della Sport believes that an agreement between the Anfield club and Rivaldo could be imminent now that the player is ready to reduce his wage demands from £6m euros to £3.5m.
