Rosicky makes Milan plea

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder was close to sealing a switch to Anfield before Gerard Houllier was oisted as Liverpool manager but his words indicate that he would welcome a fresh approach from Rafael Benitez.

Rosicky said: "I like to play with him very much, he is a perfect team-mate. I am sure we would combine well together on the pitch if we play for the same club in the future."
