Rovers want Pongo

Pongolle is on loan at Blackburn for the rest of the season but Rovers manager Mark Hughes would like to sign the French under 21's international on a permanent deal.

Any move will be dependant on the personel Rafael Benitez brings to Liverpool next season. If he signs another striker as expected it is likely Pongolle will be allowed to remain at Ewood Park.
