Rumour Mill: Benitez ready to sell Gerrard

According to reports, the Liverpool boss has spoken to Spanish newspaper Marca and revealed he is ready to sell Gerrard.

Talks between the player and the club have broekn down and, according to Gerrard's agent, are 'unlikely to resume'.
