Rumour Mill: Owen coming back for good?

When asked about resigning Owen in the future the Liverpool boss said: ""Yes, I could see him returning to Liverpool one day. That could happen. Why not? He's a top-class player and you are always interested in players like that."

Whether or not the comments should be taken seriously is debatable. It is no secret that Benitez tried and failed to re-sign Owen from Real Madrid in the summer, but the manager already appears to have a masterplan, and other names are clearly on his wanted list.
