The former Liverpool striker, who now coaches the present day forwards at Anfield, feels that the May 11th meeting could be one of Liverpool's most important "Cup finals".

Rush said: "Over the next six games the Reds will be doing everything in their power to ensure they are involved in a final day Cup final. Both sides are battling hard for fourth place and a Champions League berth. There are currently two points separating the teams with 18 points to play for before the sides meet at Chelsea.

"It is highly likely that match will determine whether or not the Reds qualify for the Champions League. And in that respect, it is one of the most important cup finals the club has played in. The only thing missing will be the trophy hand-out after the game."
