"I'm definitely looking to get back into football and if the opportunity to speak to Peterborough came about I would take it," he told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.
"I love football. When I stopped playing I wasn't sure I could cope with management but I enjoyed my short time at Chester and know I can become a decent manager.
"I've no problems in taking a job in the lower leagues. I learnt plenty in my time at Chester."
