Rush won't face Reds

Former Liverpool hero Ian Rush is a good friend of TNS chairman Mike Harris and their association led to rumours that Rush would play for TNS against his former club when they met in the Champions League qualifiers. However, Harris has now ruled out signing the former European Cup winner.

"We will not be signing any big name players just for the Liverpool ties." said Harris.
