Rushie: We need the right attitude

The former Liverpool legend believes that everyone except Liverpool fans are hoping for an upset and the televised clash will be a test for Houllier's men.

"The only way we can go out on Sunday is if the attitude is wrong," he said. "Games such as this are about application.

"We're a stronger team than our third division opponents, but the FA Cup wouldn't be the greatest competition in the world if everything was straightforward.

"If Liverpool aren't up for it on Sunday, they'll lose. We should go into the match as if we're playing Manchester United at Old Trafford, then we'll have no problem.

"The fact the match is on television is proof enough the BBC think there will be a shock. And let's not kid ourselves, they want Liverpool to lose.

"They'll be really disappointed if we win comfortably, so I hope we make sure that's what happens."
