Ryan set for Shrews switch

The FA Youth Cup winner has been on loan at Gay Meadow since August and after impressing with his performances to date has earned a permanent move once the transfer window re-opens in January.

"Because Jimmy came on a temporary loan, you can only have 93 days playing for a club," said Shrews boss Gary Peters.

"He will be on loan for another month and after that, he can play in our reserves but not the first team.

"Technically he won't be our player until 1 January, where he can then play first-team football indefinitely."
