The 20 year old Dane has started only a few games since his arrival from Brondby during the January transfer window but has impressed many, including Hyppia, with his cool and mature displays.
"He looks a very talented player who has done really well," said Hyypia. "It is not easy for someone of such a young age to come to a top club.
"His debut came in the Birmingham game against Chris Sutton and Emile Heskey, which is by no means the easiest strike partnership to handle.
"But he coped well enough. He also did well against Manchester City and was better again against Newcastle.
