Sami gets the all clear

The Liverpool captain had injured his ribs while playing for Finland on Wednesday night, and it was feared he could miss Saturday's Premiership clash.

But Gerard Houllier today confirmed that the big Finn would definitely play.

"Sami Hyypia will play," said the Frenchman.

"Sami just had bruised ribs. He will be alright. His is our captain and he is a big game player so he will play against leeds."
