Liverpool meet the Costa Ricans in tomorrow's World Club Championship semi-final in Toyko and Medford says every member of his squad is eagerly looking forward to the game with the European Champions.

"We are playing Liverpool, a very talented club not only in England but all over the world. It's a great motivation for my players to play Liverpool. Maybe this is the most important match in our history," he said.

"We have two different styles of football so it should be an interesting match. We play technical passing football but Liverpool are more powerful. They have a lot of power in the team with some very good individual players.

"It doesn't make a lot of difference which players we will be facing as it's Liverpool and all their players are high class."
